European Advanced Course on Clinical TB
This international course is organized by Filha (Finland), TBNET (Germany), Karolinska Institute (Sweden), and KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation (Netherlands). The course is held in various countries on a rotating basis. This edition will take place in the Netherlands in collaboration with Radboud University Medical Centre (Netherlands).
Aim of the course
The aim of the course is to improve the capacity of medical specialists to address the evolving challenges of tuberculosis (TB) care and prevention in Europe. Participants are expected to possess improved competence in the clinical treatment of TB after the course and to apply this knowledge to advance the care, treatment, and management of TB in their country. The course provides a forum for interaction among specialists and for fostering collaboration.

Target group
Doctors, nurses, and related professions interested in TB. The course is held in English, and accreditation will be provided.
Methodology
The training follows a participatory approach. The course includes lectures, discussions and group lessons, sessions based on exercises and case studies.
