Using Digital Storytelling and AI for Active Drug Safety Monitoring in Tuberculosis Care
Treatment for drug-resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB) is difficult and complex, and can cause side effects throughout the body. Active drug safety monitoring and management (aDSM) and pharmacovigilance (PV) — tools that help identify, report, and manage side effects — are critical to supporting the implementation of newer regimens. Innovations in TB support tools like AI companions and expressive writing and photography initiatives are filling gaps in care, and can help identify and manage treatment side effects.
TAG and KNCV are excited to present an upcoming webinar:

This is the latest installment in the series of virtual trainings for community and civil society organizations hosted by TAG under the Unitaid-funded ASCENT DR-TB Project.
