KNCV TB Plus in collaboration with the Child and Adolescent TB Working Group had the honor to host the webinar "Dissemination of self-assessment results and sharing of best practices to improve TB service delivery for children and adolescents".
What was covered in the webinar?
This webinar featured country-led presentations to disseminate the findings of National TB Programs’ self-assessment using the KNCV Benchmarking and Planning Tool to assess national TB service delivery for children and adolescents and sharing of best practices to improve service delivery.
Through a self-assessment process, countries have evaluated their achievements, identified service delivery gaps and challenges, and reviewed the implementation of the latest WHO recommendations to ensure effective and equitable TB care.
Three countries, Ethiopia, Gambia and Tanzania, shared key findings from their assessments and presented prioritized actions to address, based on the gaps identified, and developed strategies in collaboration with national and international stakeholders to strengthen TB service delivery and accelerate progress for children and adolescents.
This webinar provided insights into identification of critical gaps in policy implementation, service coverage, and access to care, with key learnings to prioritize gaps and design action plans tailored to your context.
