The health sector cannot address the ongoing challenges for TB care and prevention alone. Sustainable progress depends on coordinated leadership, shared responsibility and meaningful engagement across government sectors, civil society, affected communities, academia and development partners.

The WHO Multisectoral Accountability Framework for TB (MAF-TB) was developed to help countries translate political commitments into coordinated action towards ending TB. Recognizing that TB extends beyond the health sector, the framework promotes shared accountability among governments, communities, civil society organisations and other stakeholders. Today, many countries have established accountability and review mechanisms, but comprehensive implementation remains uneven, highlighting the need for stronger collaboration and accountability to accelerate progress towards national and global TB commitments.

Join this webinar organized in collaboration by the WHO Department for HIV, TB, Hepatitis and STIs and the Knowledge and Capacity Exchange Team at KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation to learn from country experiences, explore practical approaches to implementing MAF-TB, and discuss how multisectoral collaboration can support countries in achieving the End TB Strategy.

This webinar offers an opportunity to learn directly from country leaders, policymakers, programme managers, civil society representatives and technical partners working to strengthen accountability for ending TB. Participants will gain practical insights into how countries are operationalising MAF-TB, overcoming implementation challenges and building partnerships that translate commitments into measurable action.
